I have often dreamed,
of a far-off place
Where a hero's welcome
would be waiting for me
Where the crowds will cheer,
when they see my face
And a voice keeps saying,
"This is where I'm meant to be"
I'll be there someday
I can go the distance

About me
Where I live--small town in SW Iowa.
What I do--Life Skills Coach--helping people with disabilities find jobs, a place to live, and learn to be as independent as possible. I'm very fortunate to have a job I love that's never boring!
What keeps me smiling--my family(always!), my 4 dogs (Scruffy, Sis, Maggie and Midget), my HUGE tan leather handbag (finally, a bag big enough to hold everything!), romance classics like 'Sabrina' (the old version with William Holden and Audrey Hepburn), 'Roman Holiday' (Audrey with Gregory Peck), and 'Pillow Talk' (Doris Day and Rock Hudson), quiet time with the perfect cup of coffee (freshly ground) and a good book (I'm currently reading 'Water for Elephants').
****************************************************************************************** Clay had me at "Take"! I got goosebumps hearing him sing his audition song and knew immediately he was someone special. It's been a blast following his career--meeting new friends at Clay events/concerts all over the country, learning to give back through charity work (Clay has really opened my eyes to how we need to care for the world community), discovering tech skills I never knew I had in my quest for more and more clack. It's a blessing to be a part of this wonderful journey we are on, and I look forward to what the future holds for Clay. I truly believe 'The best is yet to come!'
